Shisha wants to build a framework for South Asian visual arts and crafts to flourish and promotes a critical discourse on the diversity of practice, on the spectrum between traditional and contemporary and divisions or hierarchies between fine art, folk and craft practice. We work to raise awareness, secure resources, challenge stereotypes and gain a higher profile for South Asian work. |
