Shisha is now recognised nationally and internationally for conceiving and programming world-class collaborative projects and exhibitions. Such as the award-winning ArtSouthAsia, the Parampara exhibition programme and Shisha’s flagship project – the Asia Triennial Manchester.
Inevitably in various ways, we have all been affected by the multiple challenges facing the world today, so it is essential we do not allow the impact of these hostile times to affect our ability to continue our leadership role in the delivery of world-class Asian art to a British and European audience. Support Shisha will allow us to continue maintaining the valuable community and educational resources in our programmes and help our audiences across Manchester and elsewhere in the UK to continue enjoying art works and events that otherwise would have been completely inaccessible.
To help us continue to achieve our ambitions we have devised Support Shisha – our benefactors’ scheme that we hope will attract your interest.
Support Shisha aims to raise support for our community and trailblazers programme in return for an active package of benefits for our loyal supporters. For a contribution of £25 per annum (plus Gift Aid) Support Shisha members will receive the following attractive list of benefits:
- Access to all our VIP exhibition opening events
- Private tour of selected exhibitions by Shisha curators and artists
- A minimum of one exclusive Support Shisha special event per annum
- Credits / dedications for all Support Shisha members on the new Shisha website
- Regular Shisha news updates and information
- Advice from Shisha staff on building up their investment-portfolio of personal art works and collection
- A complimentary copy of a Shisha publication, such as the acclaimed Asia Triennial Manchester 08 catalogue
Please download the donation form, which also includes details of the Gift Aid programme. If you are a UK taxpayer it will allow us to increase your contribution by a minimum of 25%.
